Terms of our partnership
At Layman Fitness, we view coaching as a high-level collaboration. To ensure we deliver the highest standard of service, accountability and results, the following policies and expectations govern our engagement.
1. Financial commitment & renewals
All coaching terms are paid upfront and cover the entirety of your selected program duration. As you approach the end of your current term, you will be notified in advance with options to seamlessly renew, upgrade your coaching tier or discontinue the program.
2. Program continuity
We do not offer program freezes or pauses. We believe that fitness must integrate with your real life, no matter you have high-stress weeks, travel or unexpected events. Instead of pausing your progress when life gets busy, we will pivot and adapt your program to support your circumstances, teaching you how to maintain fitness momentum even during less-than-ideal life conditions.
3. Communication boundaries
To provide you with high quality feedback and structured support, we respond to all messages within 24 to 48 business hours. We value deliberate, thoughtful communication over constant, reactive messaging. Every piece of feedback you receive will be actionable and data-driven.
4. Check-ins and scheduling
Consultations and check-ins are conducted weekly or bi-weekly via Google Meet or directly through your CoachRx app.
- Video feedback: You will receive weekly video feedback on your training execution, provided you upload your clips to the platform.
- Rescheduling: We understand that your work schedules may change. If you need to miss our scheduled check-in, you can easily reschedule. In the event of a missed call, we will still review your app data and provide ongoing support and adjustments between sessions.
5. Client responsibilities (your role)
The success of this program relies on your engagement. We ask that you show up, even if imperfectly. Track your metrics to the best of your ability, check in consistently and communicate openly about your struggles. Motivation will naturally fade; our goal is to help you rely on the systems we build together rather than temporary inspiration.
6. Coach commitment and expectations of results
You will receive highly personalized systems, radically honest feedback and full support from us throughout your journey. While every individual’s biology and adherence dictate their specific success timeline, clients typically begin to feel and see tangible health changes within 6 to 9 weeks. But deeper, structural transformations take shape over a 12 to 15+ week period. We commit to providing the roadmap; you commit to walking it.
